Modern Meadow Mug Rug Madness!

Prepare your eyes for a feast of Modern Meadow + Linen! I finally sat down and finished handsewing all of the binding. Phew, that takes a while! But you just can't beat the end result.

On this one I went a little crazy . . . those finished squares are only 1/2"!!! I love the look though.

These mug rugs are in my shop, and now I'm back to work finishing up some custom orders!

I hope you had a great weekend! Did you eat tons of candy? I'm trying to pace myself (and my daughter!)

  15. The mug rugs are darling...and bless your heart for working with such small squares. I don't know that I would have the patience to work with squares that small.
I do have a question for you though. I am looking to make a baby blanket as a gift. I would like to use linen on one side and chenille on the other and use some cotton fabric squares of a bold fabric on the linen side. My question is actually two fold. Do you think the linen would be a good material to use for the baby blanket and should I put batting between that and the chenille or would it be too bulky?
